Google Fanboy strikes again!

Last week, Google launched Google Calendar. I'm all over it dawg!

Google automatically scans your gmail messages and creates hyperlinks when it detects dates you may potentially want to add to your calendar.

You can also add an event to your calendar just by typing a sentence, e.g.
"TeamID dinner tomorrow" or
"Go punch Shaun in the face next thursday"

And the best part: Search!

If you want in, I got 100 gmail invitations. If you don't ... well ... fuck you

I think that this VW commercial kicks ass. That is all.

The Final Blow

The wife and I have a theory. Rob Babcock has done a lot of shitty things to the Raptors in his short tenure as general manager. Trading Vince Carter for practically nothing. Drafting Rafael Araujo. But here's the kicker: He called up Pape Sow from the Arkansas Rimrockers of the NBDL. What's the problem, you ask? Well, Pape inadvertantly kicked Chris Bosh while falling during a game, and in the process, sprained Bosh's thumb on his shooting hand.

Bosh is injured for the remainder of the season. The Raptors go on to lose 10 games in a row. There is a bad taste in the mouths of Raptors fans, players, everyone. Mike James will potentially leave this season. With no James, Bosh is set to leave in 2 seasons. So Babcock's final move as a GM (calling up Sow) may be the most devastating. Damn you Babcock!

Race Day 2K6

With work being busy as hell, I did not train for this year's race. Lesson for next year: if you haven't trained, don't run. Oy!

I woke up the next day with shin splints on both of my legs; tight quads; and a right groin pull. I was walking like a zombie in a horror flick.

I'm very happy that my wife ran and completed the race. Two years ago, she was so pumped. She even trained with a personal trainer. And the day of the race, she got shin splints halfway through. I figure it was because she was trying to keep pace with Ruby. She was so upset that she didn't finish. This year, even though she finished last, she was the happiest loser you'd ever see! Posted by Picasa
